Installing Debian 5.0 in Virtual PC 2007 which i use because it’s integrated in Windows 7 will fail at boot from CD-ROM.

The Solution

hit Tab to enter startup Parameters

Append the following

noapic nolapic noreplace-paravirt

and change

“vga=788” parameter to “vga=791”

and it will work fine
